Animated interpretation of the Hindu legend Shiva and the Hunter. In the story, a Hunter in search of game is forced up a tree by a hungry tiger. In order to stay awake the Hunter plucks the leaves from the Bilva tree which pleases Shiva who is fond of that particular leaf. With the arrival of the sun, the Hunter looks down and finds the tiger gone. In the tiger's place is Lord Shiva, who offers both salvation and enlightenment to the previously unfortunate Hunter.
