Plain Sight

  • All is not as it seems in this experimental short from Theo Tagholm

Here's an interesting experimental video from London-based filmmaker and motion artist Theo Tagholm (aka Mustardcuffins). Using found, mostly aerial archival footage, Tagholm transformed individual frames so that it looks like still photographs slide across the scenes. The effect is simultaneously charming and perception-altering. "Hiding in plain sight, the photograph skims across the skin of reality," Tagholm writes. Watch "Plain Sight" above.
