  • Desolate depictions of the American landscape.

  • From award-winning studio Banana Films, this riveting blend of found animation and live footage—expertly spliced together by Vladek Zankovsky—tells the tumultuous story of life on earth. Using the human embryo as metaphor, the film locates common narratives of evolution, expansion, consumption, and destruction.

This provocative short has been around for a year or so. But we thought it particularly apt for this year's Earth Day, as it inspires one to consider our place on the planet and what we do as a species to it. You can take or leave the New Age-y spiritual overtones, but this is epic.

    Thanks, Adrian.
