Polyethylene terephthalate, aka PET, is one of the most common plastics in consumer goods, which means it's also one of the most problematic sources of waste. Luckily, the textiles industry has found novel new uses for discarded PET plastic, using the strong, light fibers to create new fabrics like felt, which Bay Area designer Josh Jakus uses to create the Stola Table Lamp. The "light sculpture" has a circular accordion form with four internal support ring sizes, making it easy to change the lamp’s shape and light quality to suit your space. Also includes a socket and 8-inch cord with switch and a CFL bulb.

    Made in USA.
