Laurel Herter has worked in art and architectural glass for over thirty years, creating stained glass church windows, carved glass tabletops, intricate leaded glass skylights, and more for clients all over the world. A glass lover through-and-through, she has deep concerns about plastic pollution and its effects on the environment. So she decided to do something about it with BottlesUp, a line of glass water bottles made from 75 percent recycled materials.
The handsome, handmade bottles are free of known toxins like including bisphenol-A (BPA), phthalates, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and polycarbonates. Produced in Mexico, the bottles feature colorful, food-grade silicone accessories from Maine. Available in 16-ounce and 22-ounce versions.
