Tree Sculpture

  • Posted by Peter Glatzer on November 17, 2015 in Art
  • Turkish artist Ardan Özmenoglu takes a page out of Dustin Yellin's book creating a three-dimensional glass sculpture of a tree for the project ‘Platanus orientalis’. By painting strokes and dots on various turquoise-tinted glass plates, the artist manages to create an intricate tree form with depth. Özmenoglu works in a wide range of mediums including post-it notes as well as neon lights.
