Polish Autumn: Photos by Kacper Kowalski

  • Posted by SHFT on June 9, 2014 in Photography
  • If you assumed Poland was a visually drab place, these aerial photos from Kacper Kowalski are sure to change your mind. Flying from paragliders and geoplanes, Kowalski captures the onset of fall of the Polish countryside, as the forest erupts in a riot of colors and lakes appear as bright blue smudges on the landscape.

Born in 1977, Kowalski is a graduate of the Technical University of GdaƄsk, where he studied architecture. His educational background has come to play an important role in his photography. “By profession I am an architect, so I look at the world through my education – arranging everything in maps and drawings,” he says.
