Aerial Images of Iceland

  • Posted by SHFT on March 24, 2014 in Photography
  • Born into to a long family line of musicians and artists, Emmanuel Coupe-Kalomiris developed an early interest in photography and published his first images at the age of 18. After studying in the States, the Greek photographer began to combine his passion for nature and landscape with photography, often traveling to remote locations to capture some of the world's most extreme environments. Among them is Iceland, where he took to the sky to shoot the barren landscapes and aquamarine tributaries below. The results, as you can see above, are stunning.

Emmanuel's Icelandic photos won first place in the Aerial category at the 2013 International Photography Awards.
